Who handles your data
The data controller is Scuola Italiana Sci & Snow Paganella-Pradel, the ski school that delivers the lesson. The software running this site is Mammut Board (MEDIWELL S.R.L.), acting as data processor on the school’s behalf.
What we collect and why
When you book we collect: your first name, last name, email and (if you leave it) phone, to confirm the lesson and reach you if something changes; the name, surname, date of birth and level of whoever is skiing, because the instructor needs to know who they are teaching; any notes you write.
When you tick a consent box we record that you ticked it, when, from which IP address and with which browser: it is the proof that the consent is yours (art. 7 GDPR).
The legal basis is the performance of the contract (the lesson you buy) for the data needed to book, and your consent for the optional messages (offers, WhatsApp).
Who receives them
The school’s instructors teaching you, the front desk, and the technical providers we need to operate: the email service that sends your confirmation, the payment provider that charges your card (the school never sees your card number), and the cloud infrastructure hosting the system — all within the European Union.
We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to anyone for advertising.
How long we keep them
As long as needed to run the lesson and to comply with the law (tax and accounting duties, normally ten years for sales documents). Optional consents stay valid until you withdraw them.
What you can ask for, at any time
You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, take it with you, object to the processing and withdraw the optional consents (withdrawal does not affect what was done before). Just write to the school using the contacts below.
If you believe something is wrong you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
